The Moon at 19th March 2011, captured in Czech Republic near Mikulov

The Moon at 19th March 2011, captured in Czech Republic near Mikulov Tube. Duration : 2.68 Mins.

I was very eager to make some photos of the Moon at 19th March 2011 because of it's shortest distance (356577 kilometers / 221567 miles) from Earth in 18 years (often referred to as the Supermoon). Unfortunately there was very misty at 20:47 in the place where I was at that time (Březí near Mikulov in Czech Republic), later less that one hour before midnight there was just partly cloudy so I could took some photos. I also took a short video which shows the cloud passing in front of the Moon (that's why the photos are somewhat smudgy). For taking both the video and the photos I used my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 (original of the video is not in HD, the photos are, of course, they're first cropped and then resized to the HD resolution, if there will be some interest in source files (9 RAWs and one MOV) I can upload them somewhere). I don't expect you'll like the video so if you ended at this page and wanted to see something splendid then I probably disappointed you. Sorry about that, it wasn't actually intentional, I just wanted to save this event I took. (PS: sorry about my English, I know it's far from perfect.)
